SPANIORUM FARM AMATEUR BOXING CLUB

After a lapse of over ten years since having an active amateur boxing club, Spaniorum Farm Gym is applying for re-instatement and affiliation with the A.B.A of E.

During those, apparently dormant, ten years, most of the top local amateur boxers have trained at the Farm, not least 19 year old Bristolian Danny Butler, an ex-junior A.B.A of E. champion and now undefeated in seven fights as a professional.

If the re-application to the A.B.A of E. to form an amateur club is successful, it is hoped that more young boxers will replicate Danny’s success in the amateur domain.

A prospective club committee has yet to be confirmed.

Anyone interested in joining the club as an official or with an A.B.A of E. coaching qualification, who would like to be part of a potentially active and successful club, should email their particulars to:-

Professional boxers under contract to other managers or trainees are welcome to use the facilities, but only with written permission from their managers.

Foreign boxers can not be helped unless they have established accommodation and employment in the U.K.
