More practical than posh

As weeks passed, turned into months and then years the gym grew in area, equipment and trainees.

The ‘big shed’, now emptied of it’s mass of furniture and junk, was tidied up, a new floor put in, decorated, and now housed three boxing rings, 14 water and traditional punchbags, three speed balls, three floor to ceiling balls, male and female saunas, dressing rooms and showers.

The original hut is now a weight training area.

More practical than posh, the ancient sheds ooze ambiance and give out a welcoming atmosphere that seems to have permeated the original timbers long before the gym had been thought of.

A feeling commented on by visitors and trainees from many different countries and sports!
